Social Inclusion Week 2010 is on once again this year from 20-28 November.
It's all about connecting with your community through local events, lending a hand to those who may not be able to help themselves, and having a national conversation about important social issues that affect all Australians. Last year, all kinds of fun and exciting events happened around Australia - run by the community, for the community - as part of the National Street Party. This year we want even more people to get involved! You can get involved by: · hosting your own community event to connect with your neighbours · having a say about social issues through live and online forums, and · getting involved in exciting national activities during the Week. So Get involved. Get connected! during Social Inclusion Week 2010. Check out the website in the coming weeks to find out more! Dr Jonathon Welch, AM
