A selection of Mixed Media artworks by participants in the Belconnen Community Services ‘Bridges’ Program as part of the International Day of People with a Disability celebrations. The BCS ‘Bridges’ unit offers a range of programs for people living with disabilities in our region. Groups on offer such as CASTAWAYS, BE ACTIVE, LIVIN’ SKILZ and CERAMICS encourage community access and skills development through participation in recreational and leisure activities, and are designed to promote social, physical and creative wellbeing in a friendly, inclusive environment.
This exhibition gives our participants the opportunity to showcase the work they have created throughout the year, which will include teapots, ceramic wall hangings, oil lanterns, dream drawings and much more.
